The Carers UK publication has done an interview with James on caring for his mum and setting up Unforgettable

Here at Unforgettable we’re really pleased to see founder James Ashwell appearing in the quarterly issue of Caring Magazine, the publication for Carers UK.

In the article, he talks about his experiences of caring for his mum, the challenges he faced and how that prompted him to set up Unforgettable so that other carers could receive the advice, products and support that he wished he’d had.

Unforgettable is very pleased to welcome Carers UK as a charity partner, and we’ll be working closely with them, particularly in the run-up to Carers’ Week in June, to provide help and support to those caring for someone with dementia.

‘Carers UK is such an inspiring charity,’ says James. ‘The team’s professionalism, efficiency and total commitment to their beneficiaries makes them a pleasure to work with.

‘I’m pleased to say that we’ve now agreed a number of ways in which we can work together over the next six months. I’m particularly keen to introduce our customers and visitors to Caring Magazine – I really wish I’d read it when caring for Mum because it’s so informative.’

If you’d like to read James’ article, please click this link to view it now in an e-magazine format.

However, you can receive the magazine on a regular basis by joining Carers UK and then choosing to receive it as an e-magazine or as a printed version. As well as having a say in their future and helping to give carers a strong voice for lasting change, as a Carers UK member you’ll get access to an online forum where you can share what’s on your mind with people who understand and can support you through everything caring has to throw at you. And Caring magazine will bring you news, features, advice and events to keep you posted on all things caring, wherever you are in the UK.
