They carried our comparisons for products sold through them and a range of other websites and Unforgettable was one of the sites highlighted for being better value.

James was interviewed at home by Sheila Dillon and Clare Salisbury of BBC Radio 4’s Food Programme to talk about Diet & Dementia. He chatted about the challenges he faced around food while caring for his mum, and the products we now sell to help with this, including the award-winning Eat Well Set.

We were thrilled to launch our first radio advertising campaign for Unforgettable on Smooth Radio London. The voiceover artist is actress Paula Wilcox who has her own personal link to dementia (and you can read her story here). James was interviewed for Health Investor UK – the healthcare industry’s source for news, views and features – about how a difficult time led him to try to fill the dearth in the dementia products market by founding Unforgettable.
James was interviewed for Pioneers Post, which provides news and features on the new wave of responsible business leaders and social entrepreneurs. James chatted about how Unforgettable is delivering its mission to help all those affected by dementia through a social business.
The CEO of Big Society Capital was invited to talk about social investment on regional TV channel London Live. During the interview he mentioned James and how he is using social investment to set up Unforgettable.
James chatted to BBC Radio Stoke presenters about the recent poll that Unforgettable carried out about the problem of ‘dementia dread’ – or a fear of developing dementia in later life – as well as sharing his experiences of caring for his own mum.

Unforgettable carried out a poll looking at attitudes to dementia and discovered that 8 in 10 people over the age of 55 have a fear of developing Alzheimer’s. Read about the poll and why it prompted founder James Ashwell to set up the company.
James joined Radio5Live presenters during the Drive Time slot on World Alzheimer’s Day (21 September). He was invited to chat about the recent research saying one in three people born in the UK in 2015 would develop dementia. He also shared his experiences of caring for his mum and how that encouraged him to set up the company.
