We’re giving away 3 pairs of tickets to attend a special tea, with food especially designed and created for people with dementia

Renowned dietician and cordon bleu chef Jane Clarke is launching Nourish, a unique site designed to help put the joy back into food for people with dementia and other illnesses.

She’s also creating the Nourish Afternoon Tea – a special event designed to restore a sense of occasion to teatime for everyone, including those with dementia, and to show that you can still enjoy food and eat well when you have the illness.

The tea will be held at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London (home of the famous Chelsea Pensioners). It will be launched with the help of restaurateur and cookery writer Prue Leith, MBE and will be attended by award-winning cartoonist and author of Take Care Son: The story of my Dad and his dementia.

Location: Royal Hospital Chelsea, Royal Hospital Road, London, SW3 4SR

Date: 14 February 2017

Time: 2.00pm

To be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets, you need to visit the Unforgettable Facebook page and enter through the competition there.

After the event, Jane and her team will be providing a toolkit to help carers and those with dementia put on their own Nourish Afternoon Tea, wherever they are in the country.

Terms & conditions:
1. Each winner will receive two tickets – one for the person with dementia and one for the carer.
2. Travel to and around London is NOT included and must be paid for by the competition winner.
3. Entry for the competition will close on 6 February 2017.
